I'm back online. There were issues with the new house's phone lines and we were living in the dark ages for a couple of days there. Scary stuff!But, we are all moved in and settled for the next few months, at least. Just quickly - some good news for PSE users. Adobe have announced the release of PSE 5 and the features will include curves and a range of B&W conversions. Still no actions, but I guess there has to be some differences to CS or no-one would buy it! You can read up on it here.

I received a new lens in the mail yesterday. A lovely little 85mm. Nice. It is amazing what a wider aperture can do. I deliberately took this photo with very little natural light and cranked up the aperture to f1.8. This baby dealt with it and gave me a poppin', sharp photo, no worries.
